We believe that music lessons should not only be focused on learning to play a musical instrument.
Good music lessons should be approached as a wholesome experience of mind and body combined.
That being said, our approach to teaching music is to emphasize the development of personal and musical awareness, confidence, and expression.
That’s why we say:

About Martucci Music
Gabriella Martucci began our music school in East Sacramento in 2014 with the purpose of teaching music lessons with an emphasis in the development of personal awareness which is the catalyst for fostering confidence and creative expression.
Since 2014, the school has grown considerably with added programs and currently about 200 students and more in our group classes enrolled with our specialized instructors.
Whether it’s teaching breathing for vocals or body positioning for piano and guitar, our school has seen students become more conscious and confident of who they are and what they have to offer to their individual communities.
We recognize that the study of music is, in part, the study of one’s self and “know thyself” is the first step toward personal actualization as an individual contributor in all social and professional communities.
This is why we say, It’s more than just music here. It’s a commitment to “Self”.
Our Sacramento Music Initiative
Martucci Music is beyond excited to partner with New Hope Charter School and to provide an educational music program experience to the Robla community for the launch of their 2021-2022 academic school year! Below you will read more about the value of music in education and the music program that we plan to develop at New Hope Charter School along with our students in the coming academic year and beyond!
About the Founder, Gabriella Martucci
I was born and raised in Sacramento, CA. Where I attended Sacramento State University School (CSUS) where I obtained my music degree. In short, my music study experience unexpectedly helped me reconnect to aspects of myself that I had unknowingly disconnected from both emotionally and physically.
My professional musical training experience can be summed up as having learned this: that confidence and expression of “self” develop only as much as we are aware of “self”.
The study of music was my gateway into higher levels of self-confidence and personal expression. It has, therefore, become my passion to share this experience with my community.
Gabriella currently lives in New Jersey with her husband who serves as a pilot in the United States Air Force and her two toddler boys but her fixed passion and commitment to serve her Sacramento community continues on.
