Are you looking for a safe space to take beginning ukulele lessons or to expand on ukulele lessons you have had in the past?
At Martucci Music, we believe that all levels of music education should be committed to each student’s individuality and personhood. This is because every person is so intricately intertwined with the music they create.
Our ukulele lessons are designed to build our students’ self-awareness, confidence, and creative expression. We are committed to this personal journey by providing a learning experience that is:
Emotionally Safe
We provide a safe environment for those who are shy and those who are bold. We want all students to come in as they are and grow towards greater self-awareness and confidence. Our space is a place for students to discover their own creative expression.

We believe that music lessons should not only be focused on the musical technique of the instrument being studied. Instead, music lessons should be a wholesome experience of mind and body combined.

Student & Parent FAQs
How Young Do You Take Students?
We suggest students to be no younger than 4 years old. However, every student is different so the best answer we could give you is to have your child come in for a trial lesson and see how they do!
You will also have the opportunity to ask your assigned teacher all the questions you might have about your child’s learning experience with us!
Do You Allow Make-Up Lessons?
Yes! As long as we have at least a 24hr notice of a lesson cancellation, that lesson is eligible for scheduling a make-up!
Do We Have to Have Our Own Ukulele For a Trial Lesson?
No. But you do need your own ukulele for regular lessons every week. For just a one-time lesson, a student can either share with the teacher or use a spare one at the studio IF one is available.
What is Your Availability Like?
We teach lessons throughout the whole day, according to student needs. So we potentially have lesson time slots available any time from 8am to 8pm.
When you register for a trial lesson, it will ask you your time of day preference for a time slot.
Once our staff gets your registration, we will reach out to you with the most current available time slots for your preferred time of day and book you in!
Membership: Our membership is a flat rate of $189/mo for weekly, half hour, private sessions. This doesn’t fluctuate when there is a holiday or a fifth lesson-week in the month. We keep it simple!

More About Martucci Music’s Music Lessons
We believe that music lessons, even our ukulele lessons, should not only be focused on the musical technique of the instrument being studied. Since music lessons have the power to address the whole person, it is therefore a wholesome experience of mind and body combined. That being said, our approach to teaching music is to emphasize the development of personal self-awareness, confidence, and expression to the health and wellness, as well as to the music education, of our student community.
How are Self-Awareness, Self-Confidence, & Self-Expression Emphasized?
Body Posture
Consciousness of good and proper posture is required when playing music.
Our ukulele lessons foster self-awareness of how one currently carries their body versus the training of how one should carry the body which is tall and open. The practice of posture is a life skill that will carry over into a student’s everyday life.
Body Tension
Our ukulele lessons help develop an awareness of when and where the body holds tension.
Body tension is every musician’s enemy when it comes to developing correct musicianship and technic.
For example, along with a lot of shoulder, arms, and hand tension, even holding one’s breath when nervous or concentrating is equal to holding onto body tension. Learning to keep the body and breathing loose and free keeps one’s body mindful and stable.
Emotional Intelligence
Ukulele lessons can assist in developing the awareness of how one’s body reacts when under social anxiety or stress.
We help identify where one’s mental and emotional stress comes from. We coach on how to practically navigate through these feelings and how to self-analyze one’s emotions in order to acquire a more balanced mindset.
Self-Expression
Our music school is a safe space where students can self-analyze and express their feelings and thoughts through their music. We tell students, “Every feeling is a note, every note is beautiful, and every note counts.”
Self-Vulnerability
Our ukulele lessons help develop students beyond simply self-awareness and the stress of social and performance anxiety through actionable steps.
