Memberships
• An active credit card is required on your profile at all times in order to fulfill auto billing, secure your lesson time, and ensure no late fees will be added to your account.
• Credit card holder authorizes Martucci Music to automatically charge the card on file for maintaining monthly memberships.
• Memberships are a monthly flat rate and are due on the 1st of every month for the following month. This fee does not fluctuate with the number of weeks in a month or any holidays.
• Membership is paid ahead of time for the reservation of a student’s weekly lesson time slot and is not dependent on whether a student is present or absent. An instructor will be present at the lesson time every week throughout the year and their service must be reserved ahead of time for the month.
• Payments may be manually made any time through your online Opus student account. Otherwise, by our auto-billing system on the 1st of every month.
• A late fee of $25 will be charged to a membership that has not been paid by the 5th of every month and any overdue invoices may be turned over to a collection agency after 60 days.
• We have the right to raise membership fees at any time however, you are grandfathered in at the rate you originally registered with at sign up as long as your membership is active. Paused or returning memberships will restart at the most current rates.
Cancellation and Make Up Credits Policy
• Lessons may be canceled online through your Opus student account and make-up lesson credits will automatically be issued if the lesson(s) was canceled with at least a 24-hour notice. (you can reschedule your own lessons within the Opus platform)
• Unscheduled make up credits will expire after 21 days.
• Only two lesson cancellations are allowed in a month.
• Monthly memberships are paid ahead of time for the reservation of a student’s weekly lesson time slot and is not dependent on whether a student is present or absent. • No-shows or last-minute cancellations are not entitled to make-up credits. If you are sick, please cancel in Opus at least 24 hours before your lesson time in order to be eligible for a make-up lesson.
• We cannot hold time slots that are not paid for. Including any breaks, vacation or otherwise.
• To ensure the quality of your lesson, please do not reschedule more than 1hr of make ups at a time.
Teacher Cancellation Policy
• If a teacher cancels a lesson due to an illness or emergency under the 24-hour notice, a sub will be assigned if one is available. If one is not available for your scheduled lesson time, a makeup credit is guaranteed and will be available to use within the student portal.
• Lessons canceled by a teacher cannot be redeemed for monetary credit.
Sick or Ill
If you are taking in-person lessons and are ill or suspect that you may be getting ill, as a courtesy to your teacher and our music community, please take advantage of our option to do your lesson online via Opus.
To join online, simply click “Join Online” within 15 mins. of the lesson start time in Opus!
Holidays
• No lessons will be held on the following federal holidays: Martin Luther King Jr. Day, President’s Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, and the week after Christmas (December 24th- January 1st).
• We do NOT offer makeup lessons or monetary credit for these Federal Holiday or studio closures.
Membership Cancellations
• Membership cancellations are accepted between the 1st and the 15th of every month with no extra fees involved.
• Students/guardians are responsible to inform Martucci Music of their membership cancellation by email: martuccimusic@gmail.com.
• Any notice given after the 15th will be subject to a $100 membership cancellation fee which will be charged automatically at the time of your submitted notice.
• Outstanding lesson credits are non-refundable and expire 21 days from the day they were issued OR at the membership’s end date, whichever comes sooner.
Privacy Statement
At Martucci Music, the personal information that you provide us is only used to better serve you and your family. We do not share your information with any third party except when legal action is required (i.e. collections agency). By agreeing to this statement, you are giving us permission to use all personal information that you give us for internal business use only.
Media Release Waiver
I authorize Martucci Music to use my testimonies, reviews and comments from all communication platforms such as, but not limited to, Google reviews, Facebook, Instagram, all messaging platforms, including texts, emails etc. for the purpose of marketing.
I authorize and release all rights to Martucci Music for the use of all photos and videos taken for the purpose of marketing their services. I relinquish all rights to these and all social media materials. I also authorize Martucci Music to edit, alter, copy or distribute these images/videos for social media and all advertising and marketing and understand that these may include myself or my child, minor or not, in the marketing events stated above. I understand and agree that I will not receive any monetary compensation for the above forms of media content and that these belong to Martucci Music.
Policy Updates
We may, at any time, and at our sole discretion, modify these terms and conditions, including our Privacy Policy, with or without notice to the student and/or family. Any such modification will be effective immediately upon public posting. Your continued use of our Service and this Site following any such modification constitutes your acceptance of these modified Terms.
