Parent & Student FAQs

What Does Tuition Cost?

Tuition is a flat rate membership for weekly lessons. This membership fee doesn’t fluctuate when there is a holiday or a fifth lesson-week in the month. We like to keep it simple!

How Often Are Lessons?

Our music lessons are held every week!

What is the Commitment Requirement?

The commitment to your music lessons is on a month-to-month basis. As our policy states that we ask for a 30-day notice of ending your lesson commitment.

What If I Have to Cancel a Lesson?

If you think you’ll be needing to cancel your music lesson, all we ask is for at least a 24-hour’s notice in order for that lesson to be eligible for a rescheduled time slot. Lessons cancelled with less than a 24-hour’s notice are not eligible for a makeup lesson or a refund. By law, our teachers are required to be paid for the time they were scheduled for on the day of the lesson. That is why we ask for a 24-hour’s notice of cancellation.

How Young Do You Take Students?

Every child is different when it comes to their attention span and ability to take formal music lessons. That said, we have something for every age, from 0 up! Our music teachers will assess each individual student’s level and tailor lessons to what works for each student’s learning style. For our youngest students, that means incorporating music theory games that will teach them notes, dynamic signs, etc. along with their instrument.

How Old Do You Take Students?

No one is ever too old to enjoy music lessons. Some students are looking for an academic music experience and some students want to simply enjoy a hobby. We cater to both. Your goals for yourself are our goals.

Do We Have To Have Our Own Instrument?

For a trial lesson, no.
For regular lessons? Yes. Students will be expected to practice daily at home!
