At Martucci Music we believe that music lessons should not only be focused on the musical technique of the instrument being studied. Music lessons have the power to address the whole person. A wholesome experience: mind and body combined. Our approach to teaching music is to emphasize the development of personal self-awareness, self-confidence, and self-expression.
Our Gift to Our Students
Developing the self in these ways is essential to a successful life and music is our tool of choice to gift people the chance to become one step closer to self-awareness.
About the Founder: Gabriella Martucci Jones
I was born and raised in Sacramento, CA. Obtaining my music degree from CSUS unexpectedly helped me reconnect to parts of myself I had disconnected from both emotionally and physically. In my experiences, self-confidence and self-expression develop only as much as we are self-aware. The study of music was my gateway into higher levels self-confidence and personal expression.
I began this music school in East Sacramento in 2014 to teach music lessons with an emphasis in personal development of mind and body towards self-awareness. We have since grown and currently have about 100 private students enrolled and several instructors.
Whether it’s teaching breathing for vocals or body coordination for piano and guitar, we have seen students become more conscious and confident of their own mind and bodies. These are the first steps toward their own self-actualization as individual contributors of society in their personal communities.
This is why we say, It’s more than just music here. It’s a commitment to “Self”.
Where is Gabriella Now?
Gabriella currently lives in South Carolina with her husband who serves as a pilot in the United States Air Force but her passion and commitment to serve her Sacramento community continues on.
